Korea, an intriguing land of romantic legends, ancient ruins, breathtaking landscape, teeming modern cities and natural wonders, is regularly recording the appreciating number of tourists from all over the world every year. Tourists are discovering the hidden treasure with delight from this part of the peninsular region. It has become the mature and stable democracy since 1953. Though previously dubbed as âThe hermit Kingdomâ, it is now flaunting its bright plumage like a proud peacock.
People on Korea travel, most frequently visit the capital city, Seoul, the largest of the Korean metropolis and the tenth largest city in the world. There are many soaring skyscrapers in this seething city, ringed by mountains. It also offers myriad of attractions and thus, several experiences with vibrant nightlife and memorable dining. Travel Korea to enjoy all these along with some below mentioned places of interest for the tourists.
Some places of touristsâ interest in Korea
Andong- it has been the town of old culture and aristocrats. Andong folk museum and folk village display the relics of Korean culture. Traditional food is served in the restaurants. There is Hahoe Folk Village to its west, where the Mask Dance Festival is held in every autumn.
Jeju Island- it is entirely a different world as it has got fantastic infrastructure with regard to touristsâ facilities and accommodation. The place is also well known as honeymoonerâs delight. Its golden beaches and brightened landscape are really alluring. Jeju museum along with National museum and Folkcraft museum are worth visiting. Mt. Hallasan, present on this island, is the tallest mountain of the country. There is a Crater Lake, which should never be missed.
Busan- it is the port city and the second largest metropolis in Korea. One can have a birdâs view of the city from the Busan tower. In its proximity, is the U.N. cemetery, famous burial ground for U.N. soldiers during Korean War, which attract lot of tourists.
Seoul- it is the capital city having strong political and economic influence in Korea. It is a wonderful city having modern architecture, blended with traditional one. Monuments and palaces of intricately designed stones and modern skyscraper made up of glass and steel had made Seoul a great city. The Summer Palace in Seoul is remarkably a great piece of art and architecture.
Haeinsa- it is the old Buddhist temples, built in ninth century. It is considered the holiest Korean shrine lying amidst eerie Gayasan National Park. The entire Buddhist scriptures are printed on thousands of wooden blocks.

Travel in Busan City
Busan City
Busan is also known as Pusan is the largest port city in the country South Korea. Population is of 3.70 million, it is situated in the middle of Nakdong River and Suyeong River with mountains with natural beauty. The Busan was the host city of the Asian Games 2002 and APEC 2005 in Korea. The important notable history is the host for the FIFA World Cup 2002. And also official announced to host for the Olympics Games in 2020 summer.
Tourist Attraction : In Busan there is various beautiful and natural place for the foreign tourists. The places are most and unforgatable movement to enjoy with the family and friends. This place is includes Beaches, Sea Island Lighthouse, Rive Watercourse, Mountains and Uddhist Temples, Entertainments etc.
Beaches :
Imrang beach : It is located at Imrangri, Janganeup. There are old pine trees wood s around the sand. Gwangalli beach : Gwangalli beach lies in the heart of Busan city, which takes after passion of South Park. Ilgwang Beach : This quiet beach has 2 km goThis quiet beach has 2 km golden sand. The beach is scenic and population. Haeundae, the beach of festival : Haeundae beach is pretty busy with festivals all year around. Polar bear swimming festival is arranged. Haeundae beach: Many people think of Haeundae, when it comes to Busan. No doubt Haeundae is the most popular spots. Songjeong Beach : The depth of water is lo and the waves are gentle. It is an ideal spot for the family with children.
Sea Island Lighthouse
Chungsapo : Chungsapo still looks like a little fishing village. One of the best attractions here is the food.. Yigidae : This scenic and pure beach is a good resort of natural swampy land. Various insects like fire. Gadeokdo (Island) : The biggest island in Busan Metropolitan City. It is covered by the mountainous district.
River Watercourse
Gudukchon : Gudukchon was so clean and clear to be called as water of the propitious site in the whole area. Hyedong Reservoir : It gives you a picturesque scenery. It is an ideal place for cycling tour. Sooyoung River : Sachun is the river that runs between Yangsan city and Busan. There are big apartment complex.
Mountains Buddhist Temples
Janggun Mountain : It is highest mountain in Amnam peninsula that the mountain ridge extended to the south in Masan. Beomesa Gwaneumjeon : It was first built in 1613. This building has a gambrel roof. There is a wooden Gwaneumbosal. Gukchungsa(temple) : It is a defense of the country temple that protected Gumjung sansung (mountain fortress wall). Beomesa Seongbo Museum (Relics Pavilion) : This 108 Pyung museum has 108 exhibition halls, 50 Pyung storage rooms, and office.
Coastal Esplanade
Gamji Coastal Walk : This Costal Walk is 3km long along Gamji Coast at Taejongdae. It has outstanding coastal sceneri.. Walking path along the seaside : You can walk along the walking path in Haeundae. Its even better to walk on the beach on bare food
Entertainment
Busan Aquarium : The main aquarium accommodate 3,000 ton of water. The undersea tunnel is 80 metere. Marine sports : You can enjoy various marine sports in Haeundae beach such as banana boat, jet ski, wind surfing and so on. It is planned to bring more. Busan Yachting Center : Sooyoung-man yachting center is world-famous for Asian games in1986 and Olympic Games in 1988.
